(Sumitomo Electric Industries) has developed the world’s first to produce "pure" green semiconductor lasers, semiconductor lasers which means not need other colors and then the light changes to green, until now, the semiconductor other compositions can be generated only visible lasers - blue and red. Sumitomo Electric This invention need not be a red laser to produce the green laser light by a special optical material, pure green laser wavelength of 531 nanometers discovered, can be generated at room temperature. Sumitomo Electric hope that this new technology for the future of portable projectors, now the company has applied for about 60 patents related to green laser.
