| High power and ultrafast fiber lasers and amplifiers with good beam quality, high optical conversion efficiency , high pulse energy , thermal effects in the material advantages of small micro- processing, military, solar cells can be widely applied in areas such as high- power fiber lasers and amplifier overcome some of the problems present in the conventional solid-state lasers . It is due to these unique advantages make it become one of the research hotspots in recent years. The solid-state semiconductor light source lab using semiconductor saturable absorber clamping device as high stability Nd: YVO4 laser as a seed source , 6 m long 20 μm core ytterbium-doped double-clad fiber as the gain medium . Pumped by a single-stage reverse master oscillator power amplifier system , the 0.7 W seed source is amplified to 62 W, the center wavelength at 1064 nm, pulse duration of 40 ps, a repetition rate of 80 MHz. The amplification system can be stable at 57.6 W working hours , and in the high average power output of 57.6 W absence of amplified spontaneous emission and stimulated Raman scattering phenomenon. This laser is a single-stage reverse pump 20 μm core fiber amplifier stage to get the maximum power output.
